Refund and Returns Policy
At Jofel Vintage, we know how much heart goes into finding the perfect vintage piece. Whether it’s a 70s dress or unique home décor, we want you to be delighted with your order. Because our collection consists of pre-owned, authentic items, our policy follows EU consumer protection laws to ensure fairness and clarity for our customers.
1. The Nature of Vintage Products
Our carefully curated collection includes authentic items from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Please note that vintage items have lived a previous life and may show minor signs of wear. We rigorously inspect every item and do our best to note any significant flaws in the product descriptions.
- Hygiene Items (Exemptions): For health and hygiene reasons, items such as pierced jewelry, swimwear, or intimate wear cannot be returned if the hygiene seal has been removed or the item has been worn.
2. Your 14-Day Right to Return
For most online purchases, you have the right to change your mind if a garment doesn’t fit or suit your style:
- Notification: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return.
- Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item to our Arnhem boutique.
- Condition: Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in the exact condition they were received, with all original Jofel Vintage tags attached.
3. No Restocking Fees
We believe in transparent pricing. Jofel Vintage charges €0.00 Restocking Fees for all eligible returns.
4. Damaged or Misrepresented Items
We take great care in professionally cleaning and packaging our items, but if an item arrives damaged in transit or significantly not as described, we will make it right.
- Reporting: Please report any damage within 3 days of delivery.
- Evidence: Email a photo of the damaged item and the original packaging to support@jofelvintage.shop.
- Resolution: We will provide a full refund or a fair solution for any items confirmed as damaged or misrepresented upon arrival.
5. Refunds
- Processing: Once we receive your return and inspect the item’s condition, we will process your refund within 7 business days.
- Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Change of Mind: For eligible returns due to fit or change of mind, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Our Error: If we sent the wrong item or the item was damaged in transit, Jofel Vintage will cover all return shipping costs.
